Roy Hamilton

Roy Hamilton is a six-time Emmy award winning multimedia executive and President/CEO of RLH ENTERTAINMENT LLC, a multimedia consulting and on-air talent coaching company. He is a well-respected executive and has been a producer for nearly every major sports network in the country, including FOX Sports, ESPN, NBC, and CBS. Hamilton is well known for developing extraordinary chemistry with on-air personnel and for identifying growth opportunities and best practice for success. He has notably coached the performance development of Gus Johnson, Kevin Frazier, Curt Menefee, Charles Davis, Pam Oliver, Charissa Thompson, Joel Klatt, Randy Moss, and Frank Thomas.

Prior, Hamilton served as the Senior Vice President of Talent Development & Planning at FOX Sports 1 and 2. This is a department that he proposed, created, and launched to identify, recruit and coach on-air talent. Hamilton collaborated with Senior Management and Executive Producers to identify current and future talent needs, developed strategies for talent's career paths and goals and maximized usage of on-air personalities across all FOX Sports platforms.

Hamilton was previously the Vice President and Executive Producer of Production for FOX Sports Networks, the nation’s leading provider of local regional cable sports, where he oversaw live and taped event production for more than 1,300 FOX Sports Networks’ telecasts each year. As Executive Producer for 17 NBA regional team productions, Hamilton enhanced the television coverage by providing production guidelines and standards for each region.

Prior to embarking on a career in sports production, Hamilton was a professional basketball player. He was a first-round NBA draft pick, selected 10th overall by the Detroit Pistons. Hamilton played college basketball at UCLA and was one of Coach John R. Wooden’s last recruits. He was named an All-American in his junior and senior years at UCLA and graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree.
